Sharmane Fury (she/they/he/Sir)
Also known as your Sir Auntie Mane, is a two-time Golden Crane award-winning podcaster, public speaker, and entrepreneur. She is the host of Militantly Mixed, Bifurious, and co-host of BLERDcoMIXed and Matcha, Masala, & Murder podcasts. Recently widowed, Sharmane relocated to Seattle in the Spring of 2025 with her two cats, Krayt and Kreia, to rebuild their life while embracing both grief and growth.
A queer, bigender-identified femme and Black-Japanese-British-American woman, Sharmane is committed to amplifying the voices of the Global Majority. She focuses on intersectional identity, Mixedness, grief, queerness, and pop culture. Known for their candid and transformative storytelling, Sharmane’s work explores the complexities of identity and experience, challenging dominant narratives and empowering others to embrace their full selves.
As the founder of ManeHustle Media and Sound & Fury Notary Co., Sharmane brings a rich background in film, entertainment, human resources, and operations management. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces that prioritize creativity, activism, and mental health. Her personal journey of grief and self-discovery has reshaped both her life and work, and she uses her platform to inspire others to be their full ass selves.
A fierce advocate for Black, Brown, and Queer communities, Sharmane continues to create opportunities for people to celebrate their unique identities through unapologetic storytelling and lifelong learning.
